Reynold Levy

As President of the Lincoln Center for Performing Arts, Reynold Levy has sought a wider audience. Levy knows that an institution for the arts must be available to citizens beyond an elite few, and that this institution must be relevant to people who weren’t necessarily raised with Beethoven and Van Gogh.

In keeping with his mission, Reynold Levy has brought in more controversial performers; he has facilitated the installation of public art pieces outside the Lincoln Center; he initiated late-night performances; and he continues to create a space in which visitors can spend time, interact, and experience the arts.
